World of Tanks. A failure?

So, according to various sources, World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is going to
remain in Beta for the next 2 years.

I see that as either something really went wrong on the Business side of things or interest in it is waining due to the next generation coming along.

While I do find it nice that more free2plays are coming along (Ascend: Hands of Kul and Warface, which are and are going be, two of my favorites) I take it as a bad sign that a F2P, specifically WoT is not ready for a full release.

But, alas Warface is looking really good and I'm enjoying A:HoK. I would suggest Wargaming release World of Warplanes for Console too.

i tried to purchase this game and it said free fr gold members . y do i not get an option to purchase it only says rate and pin

You would need to be in the beta.

They've just released the achievements for WoT 360 so an actual release shouldn't be to far away now.

 

What are these various sources? When making a claim its always great to have a verifiable link we can click

 

I do not see it in beta for 2 years.They would lose too much money.The game is running smoothly and is going to be amazing.I would not be surprised to see it released this spring.This game will be the first to do f2p the right way.I never knew blowing stuff
up could be this fun..

He probably can't disclose his anonymous sources. I have seen the release date as Q1 2016 but that is wikiwhatever people put there. I did the beta for a bit. Great game but not my cup of tea.

pretty fun when you have a group of friends, I was surprised.

The only thing is that it's full of kids (duh), so while you can play it really tactitcally, it's almost never possible unless you've got like 8 friends because they're all too young and stupid to figure things out.

 

Sometimes it feels they rush headlong to their death just to get noticed.

Try putting the effort into making your claim worth paying attention to. It's not hard to copy the URL from the crap you were reading and put it here so that people who care can check it out.

Okay, how about no. You are the person providing this information, the onus is on you to provide the backup for what you're claiming, not for the reader to find it. YOU provide the link, we shouldn't need to look for it.

So it appears the game should be out very soon. Good news for those who are looking forward to the game

 

The servers will be going offline on the 29th, will be online after a few days but once it's back online all beta testers will have a few days (pre release) to play before the game is fully released to the pubic.
