Will this work ?

One of the inputs is fooked on my amp ,so at the moment I'm having to switch HDMI from ps3 to 360 , bit of a pain .

So far the amp is taking ..

360

Sky

Nas

HD DVD

So I was thinking if the sky box goes the 360 could go there . How are you connecting to 360 to the Xbox one ?

How did you expect the X1 to pick up the Sky signal - magic?

Yes of course. The X1 won't know where the signal came from, it'll just see an HDMI signal. Similar, I assume, to the way your amp works.

 

Glad to hear your back up and running. The service alert page still says there are issues so if you do run into further trouble then please be sure to check in on that.

Lucky for some. I'm still stuck at the initial update stage since xmas morning at 9am gmt.

I was just wondering if there are any extra ports i should be opening to enable certain aspects for xb1 services.?

My connection is fine but as i say the initial update issue stops me from even gaining access to the dashboard.

2 very sad children chomping at the bit to pulverise each other on games.

 

Seeing as some people are beginning to be able to sign in, have you tried power cycling the console to clear the cache?



When you Xbox is turned on, hold the power button for 7 - 10 seconds to turn it off. When it reboots, try again to connect and see it it lets you in to perform the update. Though with the alert status still up, it's pretty hit and miss until the service
is verified as working again.

LoL keyword WAS its not not working again and I spoke to those guys u or lady's u can text and tell them i put up a post about these nerds hiding behind keyboards think its cool LoL kids smfh at least if ur going do a crime it pays what do u get out of hacking.

Yeah cloudstrife 900 , i've been through all the steps to try and rectify the problem. Only step i haven't took is to try the offline update method but without wanting to void any warranty etc i'll give that method a miss.

Seems to me certain regions are being restored very slowly so i guess its just a case of the waiting game.

 

Exactly buddy, the problem will be resolved and once that happens you should (as you know) be able to perform the update without problems. It's a sad time of year to get problems like this but sometimes they are unavoidable. Fingers crossed the fix is announced
soon.

According to the service alert page, the problem has been identified and resolved so you should be able to sign in and connect without further interruption.

According to the status page the core services issue has been resolved apart from a couple of apps, however i still cant seem to get by the initial update.

Any tips?
