    Hello, I am looking to approve a game for my son that cost about 40 dollars. For his birthday we go a 25 dollar gift card and we're going to use it to get the game. He redeemed in into his microsoft account and since he needs my password for the parental controls, I typed it in and approved the game for him. I didn't buy the game, because we wanted to use the gift card that was on his account. However, going on his account only shows the same repeated message mentioned on the title. Reloading the xbox one does nothing.

    Yes I've turned off parental approval, the website doesn't work and my father is saying that the money was taken from his account

    Have you already asked your parents to turn off the approval settings on your account from their family settings page?

    So you're using a child account? I suggest to ask your parents to turn off temporarily your purchase approval settings using their accounts on https://family.microsoft.com/ > Click your account > Spending > Toggle off Requires approval...
