    well i found a turtle beach cable. 2.5-3.5 to replace my stock cable and the cable that came with the adapter. testing chat quality. i use a turtle beach delta. i also have a friend that uses astro headset. ill let you know if chat quality improves with
    it.

    Looking for xbox one headset recommendations

    Budget:
    $150-$250.

    Preferences:
    No chat adapter required
    Dolby Digital (have they patched it in yet?)
    Wireless

    I had Turtlebeach x41's and loved them. The chat adapter ruins sound quality.

    Chat Adapter Audio Drop

    I am using the Xbox One Chat Adapter that I purchased yesterday from Game Stop. My Astros A40s have great sound and I have no problem correctly connecting all components. Everything seemed to be working fine until randomly when my chat cable is plugged
    into the chat adapter my game audio quality has a noticeable drop or switch. It is difficult to explain but the sound becomes less immersive and seems to drop in quality. When I disconnect from the adapter it goes back to normal. Any thoughts? Anyone else?
