Discus and support Wordament uses other gamertag than login of XBox in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am signed into Xbox on Windows 10 with my Microsoft account and gamertag.     Wordament uses other gamertag than login of XBox


    I am signed into Xbox on Windows 10 with my Microsoft account and gamertag.

    Yet, when I start Wordament it starts with the gamertag of another account.

    I have tried logging in and out several times, both in Wordament and Xbox, but this doesn't help.

    Wordament continues to start up with the other gamer tag.

    Any advice?

    got a question for someone who knows very well about 360/one

    You can use that same gamertag, created on your One, to play on the 360 and those few Games for Windows Live titles left for the PC.

    Then you can grab and Android device and use apps like Wordament to gain achievements. Then you go to an iPhone and play that same game for Xbox achievements there. Wait a minute, you can also run Wordament (and a lot of other games) on the same account
    on a Windows Phone.

    Use your gamtertag's windows account to login to Windows 8 and you have a massive selection of Windows 8 app games that have achievements.

    Your gamertag/Windows Account can be run across a massive selection of devices.

    Microsoft accounts are used for services other than Xbox. A gamertag is attached to that account, so while it may not be in use on the console, it could very well be used elsewhere. Such as a login for Windows 10.

    Nice, but I want to continue playing the old Wordament. I tried all the steps except for Step 5 (because I want to continue playing the old Wordament), but I still can't login into LIVE, even though I terminated and restarted Wordament, Microsoft Store, and Xbox Console Companion.

    Do you have any other device where you can install Wordament app and login with your Microsoft user? I'm saying this just to check it is not something device specific.

    Depending on the outcome, we can find different solutions to this problem.
