    Please tell me someone out there that the word " aqualung" does exist.Alphajax claims it is not in the dictionary. Help me out here.

    Based on the definition, Alphajax may consider yag to be an abbreviation. They generally don't accept abbreviations unless they are so common are that they have essentially become a word, such as scuba or laser.
