So mixed bag then, price already upsetting people, ive been to busy this weekend to get on it,filtered down for children sounds worrying,i was lead to believe it leaned more towards a skyrim type of play but heyho, whats the age on it then?12,15 or 16,18?

    -

For those who have been on the beta, could i ask,How big does it look like its going to be,how vast is it?Are you coming across depth and intreging story? And hows it looking in general, lighting, day an night comparison, detail, is there graphical emmersion?all
respect it being a beta, but these things should with a quality beta.and a rough idea should be shown.

[/quote]I'm really not suppose to talk about it, but I will say a little. First the game looks just fine. While it's not going to win any awards for "OMG CRYSIS EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!" but then again, they want as many ppl to be able to play it. Plus it's
going to be on the new consoles.

    .

As for story...you can totally go through the whole area (the ones I've been through at least) without reading or listening to any dialogue, so I'm just running through it to see all the stuff and haven't been really involving myself. I want to help out
as much as possible. That said, there have been several times where what was going on caught my quick attention so I stopped and read or listened....so, they have to be doing something right here and there.

    .

I just played an orc....and there was a spot where they had Breton hostages and questioning them. I found it neat.

    :)

I've tried this. It is really awful to play. Even the very first room you start in has numerous faults and double animations opening doors and a whole floaty feeling to it. It has weird drifty mouse and keyboard controls too. Fighting doesn't feel like Skyrim
either it's just terrible and doesn't even feel like an MMO of any type.

I am only played the cat race, sorry I don't normally so thought I would mix it up, and I can remember what their called, funny enough in all the time I have played I didn't see another cat. Although I didn't see any orcs, or elfs that I can think of.

The graphics are no where near as good as Skyrim, infact they are not a patch of Morrorwind, one thing ES is famous for is how beautiful it is, and how the landscape interacts, so if you go in the water it pushes you, ESO is none of that. I don't have a
problem with dubbing it down for MMO, but I think its two dumbed down.

The story isn't important, you don't have to listern to anything, I did most of side missions up until I stopped playing it, and there wasn't anything except for from person to person and kill a few people along the way, IMO it was boring and you certainly
don't feel for anything or anyone. No sneaking, or following, no stealing, no ES style tutorials on the magic or on the smithing etc.

The quick functions are rubbish, the positions are pretty damb rubbish, ES has the ability to play the game as you like, I choice to use potions and hack with a bit of magic, however finding plants were hard work, the positions you buy don't do anything,
so as soon as you find two baddies which are one level above you, you need a lot of luck.

Bows and Arrows is very easy on ESO, you don't need arrows it has an infinate supply, and you don't need to aim, so how it that like normal ES.

Looking forward to playing this game and happy to pay even $20 monthly, it does not bother me at all. The moment they make it free to play with online shop and other types of pay modes, I am out.

Remember those that are in beta, you signed an NDA and you arn't allowed to talk about the beta outside the beta or beta forums. While perhaps quite unlikely, but you might get removed from the beta if they catch you.

I know there is a NDA, and I would love to talk about it on the beta forums, but I can't log on, and the chat support is 40,000 minute waiting time, and I just don't have that long.

I do want to hear other peoples views incase I am missing something, if they remove me, at least I will feel less obliged to fill in their tedious badly designed survey

  9. Just remembered them... Che.... Khajits...everywhere. When this goes online there will be a rather huge divide between them and a faction of players...

The developers were warned after the E3 announcement that it was coming to consoles not to do it but they didn't listen. If they had made a proper MMO for the PC this game would be much more successful.

Most console gamers have never played a MMO or if they have it's been a recent F2P. MMO's aren't about story, it's about hitting max level and running raids and dungeons to gear up for more raids and dungeons. The monthly fee is paying for updates that add
new dungeons and gear to keep you grinding after you have obtained all you old gear.

I've spent more hours end game raiding in EQ, EQ2 and WoW than I care to admit and love my MMO's but when I saw this was going to the console I lost all interest. If the end game can be played with a controller then the mechanics will have been "dummied down"
to the point it wouldn't be worth my time.

  11. Lets see.. Basic plans for MMOs....

Level grinding, scraping by for cash, raiding anything (dungeons, towns, oposing factions town), trading for money, and finding that piece of equipment you have to kill some uberboss for.... Also on the first day there will be someone who tried to max as
soon as possible...and succeeds within a day or so. Yea....so many MMOs... yet we cannot stop.

Enjoying the beta at the moment. But there is no way I am buying it for £50 then paying £10 a month just to play. I can see this going free to play in a year or less.

Ten years ago,it didn't bother me to pay a sub for playing MMOs....But now,sub isn't the only way to play MMOs....Also on consoles it's a bad idea, why they didn't choose a season pass instead of a sub.....For the consoles version, ESO will go straight into
the wall,if the game doesn't provide enough contents....Good luck.

  14. The monthly fee is kind of a dumb idea for a console. We are already paying for Xbox live and I don't understand why they would require a monthly fee to play. This game should be loaded on the Xbox servers that I believe Microsoft lends out for free to these
development companies. The game should be $60 and free to play like any other game and have expansion packs like other games that you can buy to keep playing. Just because its a mmo game does not mean it should be required to charge monthly.
