    Won't switch on


    Struggled to connect to the internet (no problems until today) switched off to try again - you know the old switch off and on again to cure all IT problems, well NOW it won't switch back on again! Any suggestions welcomed!

    I have the new editor and have created a new avatar, but I cannot get it to actually show on my Profile. It stays as the old version.

    When I select the menu option on how to appear in the new editor, no matter which version I pick (new or old), the main menu never switches from old version.

    Is it bugged?

    Can you? It's sorted now, not sure how, but I looked for a reset button and couldn't see one, where is it?

    So you were having problems connecting to your internet?

    The best thing would be to powercycle it following the steps on our site at
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

    We cannot switch your console on and off remotely.

    If that doesn't work we also have some helpful steps you can follow on our site as well at “I need help with my Xbox One network connection”

    If you have similar problem happen in the future, give those steps a try and let us know how they help with the issue.

    Console won't switch on

    As you have already tried to power cycle your xbox. Try this boot procedure to access trouble shoot mode. You may need to offline update your console in addition to booting in safe mode.
