Won't Start up

Discus and support Won't Start up in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So when i try to click on the game, it automatically crashes and puts me back on the home screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?... Discussion in 'XBoX Games and Apps' started by Mike The Omega, Jan 27, 2018.

    So when i try to click on the game, it automatically crashes and puts me back on the home screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    I have the same problem! Since the second to last Insider update my Xbox won't turn on after an update attempt during the night. Power brick is bright orange, while the Xbox is in instant on power mode. When I press the xbox logo it tries to play the start
    up tune but it doesn't and nothing happens. Only way to get it to boot is to unplug the power brick, let it rest for a while, unplug all USB devices and plug the power brick back in. After booting up, manually start the update again, and when it's finished
    plug all USB devices back in. And after that I have no problem booting anymore untill the next update attempt during the night.

    Won't start up

    Everything was fine and logged off for the night. It did do an update. Since then when the start power button is pushed it light's up for a split second then turns off.

    clear your cache.

    You can do this by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    Retry afterwards.

    Try select Game square and then press "Menu" button (3 lines) and select "Quit" and if it didnt work, you can also go to "Settings" Tab and select "Restart" you console will restart and then try again starting the game
