Won't recognize my network password

I can't connect to my wireless network. It says that the network name or password are incorrect, but I'm typing this on my PC that is on that network and working fine along with 2 other laptops in the house.

Xbox One Losing Connection to Wireless Network

Same issue here. About once or twice a day my connection to Xbox live drops. Go to network->wireless and it won't even recognize my password to the network when I try to reconnect. Have to power off or restart the system for it to again start working.

Console won't keep me signed in. Asks for password every time I sign in.

I have the same issue. Won't recognize me but it does recognize my son. I am so sick of having to enter password

 

This xbox has been connected this network for weeks, it just started this morning.

 

are you sure you didn't mismatch a capital letter? Or maybe a space?

Yea, everything is typed correct. I checked the main computer to make sure the password was correct. there are 2 other computers running on this network. For some reason my xbox doesn't recognize the password.

 

Hmmm that is very strange indeed. Can you change the password to your network and then try it?

 

Its all good now, I just had to figure out how to power cycle my xbox.

 

Yea it seems like I have some type of connection issue with my XBox about every couple of days. Have to power cycle it cause it can't recognize the network. Getting real sick of that issue, never had that issue with my 360. If it keeps up, I might just
end up switching over to a PS4, I want to just get on and start gaming, but can't because it's not recognizing the internet.

 

^Freakish - until a patch is released, change the power up settings, and turn instant on off- that will force it to boot up everyday. You will just lose your "Xbox On" command- but hey then it will be just like the PS4

 

well I am having the same issues and have checked all other devices and they work just fine its only my xbox(one) that gives me issues, I don't have a kinect to use the commands, so I have no real clue, how I should fix, if I even could.

 

@thefatkidisnext try going into network settings going offline and if the option is available select forget wireless network. after this is done(if available) press and hold the power button on the front of your xbox for 10 seconds then uplug the power from
your xbox and wireless router and leave everything unplugged for 5 minutes. then plug the router back in and wait for it to boot all the way back up and then turn the xbox back on go back online and try reconnecting to your network

 

@reload2456- although it did not give me the option to forget the network, and had to restart once more afterwards it worked and, and its at the very least able to watch things like Netflix and YouTube, I would like to say thank you for your help, and if
I experience this again I will now how to fix it in the future.
