Won't read CD April update

I got the Xbox one update that we get in April. After this update I put in a game and was playing it fine, then when it was time to take it out, I pop out the cd from the Xbox and before I can grip my fingers on it the Xbox sucks the game back in. The first
time this happen I hit the eject button right away and the cd came out. But once I put a new game in the Xbox would not read the game. So I rebooted my Xbox and it worked just like before. But it still sucks in the game when I go and take it out. So when it
dose this I let the game load up (takes longer then normal) and then I can take out the game with no problem.

Xbox stuck in update mode, can't install update from disc.

My xbox won't go to dashboard, it just is stuck at this screen. I recently had repairs done to it and we missed a lot of updates.

The Update is on the CD when I turn the console on It says:

"System update"

"Applying update"

And the bar won't move and then it displays

"System Update stopped"

"Can't read Update from disc"

"22FB-335A-B800-0F00-C000-0013"

And then it will just stay on that screen and won't continue to the dashboard.

There are no memory cards or USBs plugged in, just the cd in the drive. I have tried it on a USB too, but that isn't working either. Any ideas?

 

Kinect Sports as unrecognized disc

Hi,

I just bought XBOX 360s recently and all the bundled games are working perfectly. I bought an additional Kinect Sports game and tried it in my console. When the cd auto plays the console says that my can't be read so I cleaned it with a cloth carefully but
I still got the same error message. On the dashboard, sometimes it displays unrecognized disc. Sometimes it can read the game but when I try to install it, it also prompts that the cd can't be read.

I've tried my other cds and they are working perfectly.

I returned the cd to the store where I bought it and their support said that the cd is working so they won't replace it.

I've read somewhere that, there have been instances that software updates causes some cd to be not working. Kindly advise if that is the case and when will be the next update. My cd is in correct region and should play with my console

Is the game still running when you eject the disc? Menu click the game tile and see if you have an option to Quit near the bottom.

 

Yes, I also did that to. Still dose the same thing. When I let it load up after it sucks the game back in then it works fine. But if I take it out before it loads back up then the Xbox won't read a disk. Then I gotta reboot the xbox

 

Try to power cycle the Xbox, meaning holding in the Xbox button on the console for 5-8 seconds, then after it shutsdown, unplug the power cable from the Xbox and leave off for 30 seconds.

Start it up again and see if that did anything.

Otherwise i see only two options, either wait for the April update to go live and see if that fixes it, or call Xbox Support.
