    My xbox one won't read 360 disks. I have red dead redemption and it worked when it became available, but now it won't read the disk. I've tried with several new releases and the same thing. What am I doing wrong? thanks for any help.

    xbox won't play disk

    my XBOX 360 slim won't read the disk. that happening after my last update.

    Xbox One Issue

    So, my original Xbox One won't read my Xbox 360 disks. The problem isn't the disk reader, the disk reader will read and download my Xbox One games and allow me to play them. It just won't read or do anything with my Xbox 360 disks. It doesn't even give
    me an error message when I put the disk in. It doesn't do anything at all. For example, I tried to put my Halo Reach disk in my Xbox One and nothing happened. It didn't download the game or anything. It did the same with Borderlands 2, which is also backwards
    compatible. The disks were clean as well and worked perfectly fine on my Xbox 360 but they didn't work on my Xbox One. I wanted to know if anyone else had this issue and could help me out.

    Can you please provide a few more details about the issue you're having? What games are having this problem and are you seeing any specific error message sor error codes? Do the discs work on an Xbox 360 console?

    Can't Play Any Games other than borderlands & L4D2.

    Um Its not my disks that won't read. Its my downloaded games that won't play, and any game that is installed. My downloaded games and installed games register as unreadable disk. Aren't they supposed to read off of the hard drive.

    Same thing is happening too my 4gb slim with battlefield 2 disc error and its a new disc , i exchanged he game twice already.

    Pretty much all of this I have tried. All 3 consoles are NTSC-U and all games match. Just the new consoles have the problem. Removing all storage works, I am assuming because there is no place for it to cache, but that doesn't fix the problem, just makes
    me unable to save my games or use a profile.

    I have tried all like 25 of my games and none work after the first game has launched until cache gets deleted.

    All games work fine on the old original slim with it's storage device as well as the ones from the new consoles.

    Two seperate consoles had the same exact problem and I don't want to drive 20 miles back to best buy to exchange a third time, if they will even take it back again.
