    Won't play disc unless ejected and put back in


    As the title says, it won't play discs that are already in the console when powered on unless I eject it and reinsert it back into the console. I have the preview dashboard and just got an update within the past few days when this started happening. The
    disc is Destiny TTK and is very annoying. I have tried troubleshooting steps, which have not worked and will submit this issue in the report a bug for the dashboard. Any other way to get it to stop this? Thanks

    Xbox one drops to dashboard in between loading games.

    @ Boas,

    I loaded up Rayman on my daughters console, didn't actually play it, just left it on the title screen for a minute or so then ejected the disc, then straight away put in another disc, this time Batman and it loaded up ok, no going back to dashboard.

    Check disc error

    Mines done this loads tonight now. A hard reboot does fix it but it re-occurs again. What also happens is when you eject the disc, the disc slides out as normal then re enters the discs back into the drive. I then press to eject, then when i put a new disc in it tells me to check the disc. So annoying.

    Is there a way to get rid of Xbox disc warning sign?

    The disc warning sign will always be there. It just means that you need the disc to play the game. Once you put the disc in, the icon goes away, but will come back when the disc is ejected.
