    Won't let my change my primary email adress


    So on step 6. of the changing your email address you add in an allias and the stupid thing just says "THIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS ALREADY TAKEN. PLEASE TRY ANOTHER." Even though i own the email address :/ It doesn't make ANY SENSE does it think "add an existing"
    means create one or something? it implies EXISTING...

    Anyway sorry i'm very angry about this but i don't want my microsoft account associated with the current email it has, i want the REAL one that i actually use :/

    Changing email address assciated with Xbox live account

    I had to change my primary email address to excessive junk mail that won't stop. Now I need to change my Xbox Live account to the new address and it won't let me. So the question is, how do I do this?

    Update: I've deleted the Microsoft account for the email address but now have to wait 60 days due to its ignorance policy in case anybody isn't sure about it... grand..

    so once that is done in 60 DAYS i get to enjoy the benefits of a microsoft account, if it wasn't the only way to play xbox and computer i would most likely never use one due to unneeded complexity.

    Transfer gamertag to new email

    Can you clarify a bit. When I try to change the email address to the new outlook one on my xbox it won't allow it bc Microsoft automatically gave that email a gamertag when I opened it. When I change the primary email for the outlook email in the settings

    So is there nothing i can do to get access to the acount? Cause thats the main one i use for everything. Thats the whole reason i changed the primary email adress was so i could use my one email for all my acounts
