Wont let me unmute

Recently i jave been having a problem where it mutes people automatically and i can unmute them. They are not blocked and my nat type is open. Please fix this it is really frustrating because i cant talk to my friends.

Cannot unmute friend as well, cycled power of console and router, still nothing. Same issue with Xbox app.

I'm currently experiencing this same issue. The issue occurs across all devices on my xbox live account. I've tested this on Xbox App on Windows 10, Xbox App on Android, Xbox One S, and Xbox One. A lot of our xbox games rely on Party Chat communication,
so this has become a pretty big issue for me and we've resorted to using our mobile devices in order to better communicate.

 

Same here since this weekend. My friend cannot unmute me. Nat is open on both sides and he can unmute and hear me with another account on the same device. Very frustrating. Lost several hours of game play on a weekend because of this.

 

Same issue here, could hear one guy fine but I could not unmute the other, went to his profile and unmuted him only to have him muted when I went back to his profile.

Honestly for what we pay for Live per year, basic stuff like this is very irritating. Hopefully theres a solution and thank you to support for working on a resolution.

now this just getting **** annoying i have had this for about a week now with multiple of my friends being unable to be unmuted and them having the same issues with other friends. can you please fix this cause this is just ruining most of the fun from

Exactly the same issue. Me and my other half have each other mutes most of the time as we generally play in the same room so doing avoids too much feedback to down the mics to the party we're in. Why i tried to unmute it just doesnt work. Tried removing
friend, re adding. Rebooting. Power cycle. Block and unblock and nothing seems to work.

Seriously, the amount of money I spend on live and xbox games to have an issue like this is ridiculous. If i could cross platform with my xbox friends I would have bought a PS4 by now. smh Microsoft, it's 2018 are you kidding me. Not to mention the response
time is terrible and they were unable to fix it. I've been a loyal Xbox player for 10 years.
