    wont let me unmute a friend.. in party chat game chat.. when i go to his player card it will unmute him but when you back out and go back in it dont change

    The
    Xbox Live service status page     is listing an issue with party's at this time that may be contributing to the problem you are experiencing when trying to unmute a friend. Please allow this to be resolved to see if it fixes your issue.

    Hey all,

    If you are still seeing this happen let's try a cold boot of the console by unplugging it for a full 5 minutes. If that does not help then the next step will be to try a quick

    factory reset of the console    , be sure to keep your games and apps installed when asked to do so.

    Let us know if you continue to see this behavior if those steps do no help.
