Won't let me set my Xbox one as my home xbox

basically my Xbox is not letting me play any game unless i set it to not my home Xbox when it is my home Xbox, any suggestions?

Home Xbox switching

I got a new Xbox one s and tried to set it as my home Xbox for my account but it won't let me make it my home Xbox even though I took home Xbox off my old Xbox help?

Home sharing

I currently live in a household with two xbox ones which we home share on, when i first set up home sharing it wasn't working properly and it wouldn't let me home share so I had to retry it twice before it worked properly, now when I try to set my original
xbox one io my home xbox because one of the Xbox ones is leaving the house it won't let me as apparently I've used to home share feature more than 3 times. Is there any way to reset this it's very annoying as I want to make my Xbox the home xbox for my account
but it won't let me. Thanks

I've got 3 xbox ones. 2 of them are set as a home xbox and connect fine. However, the other one that isn't set as home won't connect. Additionally it won't let me make it home xbox for any accounts atm

I’m having this same issue. From what I see it’s an error on behalf of Microsoft, I really do hope there working on a fix for this

This is a outage Microsoft is having right now. Other users are having the same issue today. They're trying to set Xbox as the Home Xbox and it's not working. They tried to remove and add the account again, tried to add another account to the console and even tried to factory reset Xbox and still nothing. After checking the box, it will just load and then get unchecked again, same issue as you:

Microsoft is aware of it and will probably fix it soon. Pleae wait a few hours and it should be solved.

Also, you said you changed the location of your Xbox. Please don't change the country/region to one you're not living in since it might cause your account to get banned. Stay safe.
