IM KEEP GETTING SOMETHING WENT WRONG ERROR EVERYTIME I PUT IN THE REDEEM CODE! IVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF! THIS THE ERROR CODE

Xbox not recognizing gold account

I activated a 3 month gold card on xbox.com but my profile on my xbox still says silver and wont let me get my free gold game

 

Mine is doing it to it has to be on Microsoft. I can't even buy a renew online

 

ever found a solution? Same problem with my 3month gold card

Where have you bought it? My is from amazon.co.uk and I can't redeem 12 month code.

I had same code...I just chatted with support they said:

The only reason that your code is not redeeming to your account is because you are on an active paid subscription and there is a bit of a known issue with stacking paid subscriptions and pre-paid subscriptions together.

Your current subscription expires on December 8, 2016, and once expired, you can then redeem your pre-paid code without any issues!

 

The support person also said:

This tends to happen mostly when you have a paid subscription and turn off auto-renew and then try and redeem the code. For some reason, with auto-renew off, it blocks codes in the system. Once your current subscription expires, you can redeem the code without
any issues.
