Won't let me game tag online

Discus and support Won't let me game tag online in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; just bought live gold 12 months when I log on to play say gta 5 I say my gamer tag is unavailable.     Won't let me game tag online


    just bought live gold 12 months when I log on to play say gta 5 I say my gamer tag is unavailable. But I've used this account before with live.

    Not quite understanding the issue you're having. Are you trying to change your Gamertag, or are you having trouble signing into Xbox Live to redeem your pre-paid Xbox Live card?

    Did you go to Settings, Network, Network Settings, Detailed Network Statistics and make sure you have the required speeds? No Packet Loss? MTU is in the range required? Also be sure to Test Multiplayer Connections and see if you get any errors or messages.

    You can also try changing your connection. If you are Wired, go wireless and vice versa. Also unplug your modem/router/gateway for 5-10 minutes and Clear your MAC address on the console (Settings, Network, Networks Settings, Advanced Settings, Alt MAC Address,
    Clear).
