Won't let me change gamertag when I press change

Every time I press on "Change Gamertag", it doesn't let me for some odd reason. I check availability for the name I'm trying to get and it says it's available also the gamertag doesn't have any inappropriate words or special characters so I don't know it doesn't let me but please help.

Also I have changed my username before once for free so if its doesn't let me change because I need to pay please tell me because for some odd reason it doesn't put a price up for me to pay for a gamertag change.

there is an issue with th gt change system since the last few days.

All you can do is try again until it is fixed !

You have 2 gt changes for free ! Then it will cost a fee.

There are no free gamertag changes unless your tag was a recent system assigned tag. Hope this helps.

I'm having this same problem. I know for a fact that I would've changed my gamertag when I created my account if I could, since I tried to and it wouldn't let me. I don't know why it won't let me change it for free.

It looks like it would work... but it won't let you change it. I tried highlighting words in the field of my gamertag, but it wouldn't work. I click change my gamertag and it sends me to how to change it on X360.

When i was forced a gamertag change it then let me change it again for free to something that i chose to, are you sure it wont let you make a free gamertag change now its been a forced change?
