Won't install after update

I have COD:AW and I haven't played it in a while, so I decided to load it up today and have a few games. When I click to load the game I get this message: "Installation is almost done, If you have a game disc, insert it now. If this is installing from the
Xbox Store, the person who purchased it needs tp sign in with the profile they used at purchase". When I press the options (start) button it only has a "resume installation" with no way to remove the game. If I click resume installation it just flashes to
the installing icon, shows 100% for a few seconds then goes back to normal.

Why is it doing this and how can I stop it?

Games will not install

I can't install Forza or Peggle back. What went wrong I loaded up peggle, and Forza both needed an update after the newest preview update for the xbox. They will not update now, so now I am trying to reinstall them but they will not install now. I think
it is a download bug because it was fine before the xbox update, now it won't update or install.

Upgrading to a One tomorrow.

After my Forza install failed the first time, I tried the trick where you sign offline. The games installed much quicker! But still had this huge updates to download and install. I am sure with new releases it won't be bad.

I had the same issue, install the full disc before you update. You might have to delete what you have downloaded of it wright now. Ounce it is fully installed then launch it and download the update. You can't have more then one download running btw!

Hi there, you can most certainly select to install the update while the game itself is still installing, I believe what happens though is it will immediately start the download of the update and stop installing from the disc so sometimes to make it a faster
process, installing the game while offline and then the updates after the game is finished installing offline will be the fastest way to get gaming.

Though to answer your questions, it won't stuff anything up installing the update while the game is still installing, might just make it a little slower.

You'll have to install it manually via USB or CD/DVD. MS fcked up and now they won't fix it. But even after doing that good luck with getting your games to update.

Do you mean you can't play multiplayer on the same console by chance? If so, we are having this issue as well. After installing the update, it won't let us do multiplayer...

What a frustrating experience... I bought GTA 5 yesterday, got home, load the disc, let it 100% install then try playing it. Update came up, select install, and it simply won't! It keeps coming up with an update error (please check connection and try again).
There is no issue with my connection, all tested ok. Tryed hard reseting 5 times, waiting different times in between with console unplugged from power for 5 minutes, then 10, then 15, then 20 then 30 minutes. Then decided to delete the game install, wipe cache
again with hard reset, waiting 1 hour this time. Now the game won't even get to 1% install!!! So after forcing the Xbox One to go offline, it is installing again. It has to be a server side issue as it started installing fine after making the console go offline...
I just hope after the game installs it will update properly... By the way, Im in Australia if it makes any difference.
