    hi everyone I tried looking for a solution but nothing that's stated on here works, my xbox360 wont let me connect to my wireless network even though it has been doing so since I got it for Christmas and now all of a sudden nothing I have tried clearing
    the cache, restarting the xbox, tried to connect to a network but it wont even bring up the network its saying I need an xbox 360 wirelss adapter now and I have never had one also when I press the yellow button for more info nothing happens so I can't even
    get an error code. Also my netgear router is only a year old if that Won't Connect to wireless anymore can't even get an error Code :)

    Can't connect to my router

    my xbox one won't connect to my router. Every time I attempt to i get a message saying "Can't connect to your wireless network". As a result I can't even use the "test network connection" feature, because the Xbox won't connect to the router in the first

    I did. I also hard reset my modem, and now the Wireless light won't come on, and my Xbox won't even try to connect before it gives me the "Unable to connect" error.

    Greetings!

    It sounds like a genuine hardware error, if your console is unable to detect the wireless network adapter.

    Do you have the black, or white external wireless network adapter, or the built-in (Xbox 360S/E)?

    Could you try unplug the power supply to your Xbox and keep it unplugged for 10 minutes. Reconnect everything back and turn on your console.

    Try connect your Xbox to your wireless network.

    Post back and let us know how that goes.

    its built in, I've tried that multiple times also tried turning off the wireless router at the wall also didn't help

    Seems that your issue is related to a genuine hardware error.

    This can't be resolved from your end. You'll have to submit an online repair request, by follow these steps:

    You can also consult with an official support agent, by request a phone call or chat with official support, if you have any questions.

    is there somewhere I can take it to be repaired, according to the site I need to send if off and they will replace it with a refurbished one, my console is brand new I have only had it a month!

    Hi,

    No DNS is not the issue here its just that you can't connect to the wireless network at all, until you can connect to the network it won't get an ip address or a DNS address, even if you manually enter an address it won't help because it isn't connected
    to the wireless network.

    The router issues the Xbox an ip address and DNS settings, but it won't until has connected to the network first which it can't at the moment.

    Digital assistant told me that error 8B050084 means that update is needed but is not available. Does anyone know when it will be available

    There is no different connection option. I've got wireless internet. Xbox can't connect to wireless network. I can use Ethernet cable from modem to Xbox. Xbox says it's connected still same error code. I've also got unlimited data on mobile and since Xbox needs update it can't connect to wireless network.
