Won't connect to 5ghz

I've always been able to connect to it, but then all of a sudden it stops working. It keep saying coming up "Unable to connect, check your network name and password and try again". I know the password isn't wrong because I always use it to connect my phone.
The only way I can connect to it is by turning the router on and off again, but I can't keep doing this because of my family. Any solutions?

My XBox Can't See My Wireless Network Anymore

I don't think its the case but I'll ask anyway, does the Apple use 5Ghz wireless or just 2.4Ghz? If it does 5Ghz and it is set to 5Ghz only it won't be able to connect

 

Xbox slim wireless to ASUS RT-N66U works very poor.

My Xbox One won't connect to the 5GHz band of my Asus N66U wireless router.

 

Hey there Russian Hacker4,

It's possible that your router has too many devices connected to the 5ghz channel which is kicking you off it. Are you able to connect to the 2.4ghz network and does that help? Wired is always the most reliable solution if you're able to use that.
