    I've purchased a 1-year subsricption for Xbox Live Gold for my Xbox One. But i could not play online games (roblox) or use online features of any game (like Garden Warfare 2). Can you help me please. thanks

    Xbox won't recognize it's connected to the internet for games

    My Xbox won't allow me to connect to xbl/the internet to play Destiny 2. It keeps telling me to go online. The Xbox network settings say I have a good connection, and my Xbox live gold subscription is good until 05/2018. I can access apps like Netflix and
    Twitch, but when I try to play a game, my Xbox won't allow me to get on Xbox live.

    Hi I purchased xbox live gold for my Xbox 1 and whenever I try to play online it asks me to join xbox live gold, I have already entered the code and it says my subscription doesnt end until next year so I don't know why i can't play online

    Since he purchased the digital version of the games he won't lose them as the live gold subscription allows just to play online.

    You need to have an Xbox Live Gold Subscription to use any Xbox game online. This includes playing the game online or doing anything that requires access to the server. You can pick a 1 month card for $10 at your nearest store or a 1 year card for $60 (50%
    off compared to 12 1 month cards).

    Sometimes they have Xbox Live Gold weekends which allow anyone without a subscription to play online for free and some games come with a trial Gold subscription

    If you already have Xbox Live Gold, then it is possible that the servers for the game are temporarily down and you would need to check EA;s forums to find out..

    You need a Gold Subsciption to Xbox Live to play online multiplayer. Xbox has two types of Live servce Xbox Free and Xbox Gold, Free subscription will not allow you to play online. You can purchase a Gold Subsciption through the Xbox Marketplace from the
    Xbox Dashboard.

    Was the code for a full gold subscription (1 month, 3 month, or 12 months)? Or was it a gold trial? Trial cards will allow you to play online, but won't change your account to gold.

    Okay,

    You won't have Gamepass.

    Gamepass is a subscription that provides access to a library of games that can be played without purchasing them. Similar to Netflix.

    While "Gamepass Ultimate" provided access to that same library and also gives access to Xbox Gold and EA Play.

    Ea Play is also like gamepass that offers their own game library that can be accessed while the Subscription is active.

    With Gamepass Ultimate, you'll have Gold, Gamepass, and Ea Play all in one Subscription.

    However, what you purchased (Xbox Live) is Xbox Gold. This is a subscription that provides access to online gaming.

    It is not Gamepass so if you are looking for an active Gamepass after redeeming that 12-month Subscription, Gamepass will not show but Xbox Live or Xbox Gold should show.

    Is that showing up at all?
