    I cannot get Xbox Live Gold because of Parent Permissions. I have tried to go into family on the microsoft account to change that, but it does not show an option that I need. I need some help

    Have you tried redeeming your trial code on Xbox.com by any chance? If not, try that first. If you continue to have issues, I recommend reaching out to our
    phone or chat support team. They can take a look at your account and can hopefully help you out with that code.

    Try it on your Xbox console:

    Change privacy and safety settings for you or a child
    1. Sign in to your Xbox. (If you’re changing the settings for a child, sign in using an adult’s account.)
    2. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
    3. Select Settings > All Settings.
      For your account:
      1. Under Privacy & online safety, select Xbox Live privacy.
      2. Choose a default, or customize your settings by selecting View details & customize.
      For a child’s account:
      1. UnderAccount, select Family.
      2. Enter your password or passkey, and then select the account you want to update.
      3. Select Privacy & online safety, and then choose the default settings, or customize by selecting View details & customize.

    Parental Confirmation impossible as it thinks we are different regions so can't set up son's XBox Live account

    I managed to set up an account through with the website and that let me do parental confirmation. Now I have a problem that the XBox won't let my son log in to XBox Live with it and he cannot use the email address to create another account and it wouldn't
    let me do parental confirmation if he did. The XBox insists he creates the account through the XBox only but won't let me do parental confirmation so even if he created a new email address it wouldn't help.

    Where I Stand: If someone else fronted the money for the gold subscribsion, would that register me as a secondary user to them?

    If that is the case, It won't let the person who fronted the money (who also has an Xbox live account) access the settings to change it. and now that we're are trying to get a Gold Family pack, it won't let him sign my account as one of the four. It won't
    let me change WLID the Gamertag associates with because it says it can't retrieve the information from Xbox live.

    Hyrule, I can't do that because I need to sign in to Xbox Live in order to get to the settings, and I can't get on Xbox Live because the parental lock won't let me.

    I think i figured it out, my xbox live subscription ran out between getting the game and letting it download and booting it up to play it. apparently my xbox games with gold won't let me play in between gold subscriptions. I wanted to do some single-players
