Wolfenstein: The Old Blood [DIGITAL ONLY... with possible disc version?]

Bought old blood and new order for 30 bucks. Played old blood pretty happy just waiting on new order to get here

 

I've seen a lot of people playing this! I actually noticed my local retailer has the disc version coming out this week for $40. I think I'll stick to the digital version being half the price.

 

@digi had to be the bearer of bad news but the digital version is $40

 

I was looking at New Order on the console last night. Digital is still the full $60.

 

The only thing that baffles me about The Old Blood is who ever thought it was a good idea to have to hold the button down to read text files and then decided that not only do you have to hold the button down, but if you need to scroll the text its the right
stick??? Makes no sense at all!!!!!!!!

 

After getting stuck on The New Order it became a dust collector but its now being dusted down and guess what? I'm stuck again !!

At a bit where you press a button to switch the railway tracks and after killing a few enemies I venture down only for a big robot dude coming out the ground and blowing me to pieces any advice how to kill him ?

 

@genchy I haven't come across anywhere where you have to hold down the button to read text files?

@boozy I think I know the bit you are referring to. Use the laserkraftwerk to kill him and the best place on ground level to the right of where you hit the switch. It's s little store room and from memory has a laser charger in there also.

 

is that in the chopper hangar place?

 

Rippen, how do you read the notes (text files) then, when I press the button to read em as soon as I let go they close?????

 

Genchy no its past the Choppers which were also a pain in the rear end I must say !!

Rippen cheers for the info I killed one and got a cheevo so I thought I had done it and jumped down only find there was another 2 waiting for me I got to that little room to recharge the laser but I hadn't filled my health up but at least now I've got a
clue what to do cheers mate

 

Its all about the weapon selection Boozy and grabbing overcharges, If you think those bits were bad your gonna love the end fight!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! You Fifa boys cant handle a shooter!!

@genchy I'm not sure what is going on. But sounds like a possible controller issue. Any files that appear with the magnifying glass icon I press X once and it's open to read?

 

Rippen that's weird but makes sense, I thought it was a barking mad design, thing is the button performs all other functions perfectly.!! I guess my only option left to me is throwing my toys and threatening to buy another console,,such a massive slap
round the gurner..... Don't know how MS get away with, perfect console since launch now this happens!!
