Wolfenstein: The Old Blood [DIGITAL ONLY... with possible disc version?]

The New Order was my GOTY last year, so I'm definitely picking this up soon. I'm waiting on a hopefully disc version to go with TNO.

I've only heard good things so far

What are some good Single Player games to get on X1?

I'm ashamed that I haven't even installed the last wolfenstein yet,,, But thanks for the heads up on the hard copy.

 

New Order was my surprise GOTY. I had such low expectations because of the last Wolfenstein that New Order blew me away. I pre-loaded Old Blood as soon as I could. There's so much gameplay for a reasonable price.

 

New Order was amazing! d/loaded Old Blood on Tuesday and will make a start at the weekend : )

 

Old Blood is outstanding! Best money I've spent on a game in ages! Can't wait to get stuck back in tonight!

 

For someone who has not played any of the Wolfenstein games, would you all recommend Old Blood as a good game to start with or at least play before proceeding to New Order? Both Old Blood and New Order sound great to me, but I wondered if, OB being a prequel
and standalone, it might be a good intro to the story line.

 

Personally I think Old Blood is better and would be a perfect start.

New Order starts off by throwing you in the thick of the action, Old Blood starts with a stealth run which made a good change for a first person shooter, not reached the second half of the game yet. Either way you can't go wrong!

Yea they are. Old Blood is ridiculously good value for money, and plays flawlessly and looks stunning! Other Devs should take note. Hope you enjoy em!

 

I'm enjoying this game a lot. $20 for this game is a steal imo.

 

Having finished it I would highly recommend playing it first if you haven't played The New Order yet. Game play is just as superb as TNO and leads into the story nicely. I enjoyed both Parts of Old Blood as much as each other.

The tweaks made to the commander system are better than in TNO.

I think you can't go wrong no matter which one you play first to be honest, and Genchy I totally agree. Machine games are a team I will support for a long time. They know how to build a great story, great gameplay and their level design is something others
should take note of.

 

Old blood is going to make me want to re-buy New Order I can feel it already lol
