Wolfenstein the new order won't install

I did all of the steps provided, and even the marketplace download and it is still at 50%. I can play the game, but I have gotten far enough that I wish not to uninstall it. Any suggestions?

 

I bought my copy physically, and I installed it normally. Played about halfway through the campaign and now it won't let me go any farther "content unavailable, please wait for install then continue." No indication that it is not already fully installed
and no way to continue an installation. Going to try uninstalling and reinstalling and hoping I don't have to replay the entire first 9 episodes again...

 

i have also tried to download from marketplace . With no success . I keep getting installation stopped ????? not happy for the money spent ..

 

I purchased "Wolfenstein: The New Order" on June 6 and immediately got caught up in the install problem.

I, too returned the game after several install tries -- but the problem persisted with the replacement disc.

So I followed the detailed instructions given above (uninstall, clear cache 3 times, disconnect console, etc) and having done all that, a re-install worked fine.

I'm none the wiser as to the nature of the problem -- but at least I can begin playing the game.

(BTW: i never had the option of playing the game uninstalled. From the moment i put the disc into the console i was told an update was necessary, that it would consumer 7 G, and I had no choice in the matter.)

 

To inuksuit: To play without being prompted for the update, you need to disconnect the XBOX from the Internet. Then it doesn't ask you. But I am going to try clearing the cache, etc. next.

 

Tried everything, with the exception of downloading it from the market place. I have to say, this is not what I signed up for when I spent $500+ on the XBOX ONE. I have removed every single app I can, BluRay, YouTube, Music, Video, NetFlix, Cloud, everything
I can remove I removed it. I removed every previous saved game (not just Wolfenstein). I have replaced the disc (thanks EB Games for being so understanding).

I guess at the root of all this is the following: Where the hell is Microsoft??? Where is Bethesda?? Nothing on either website, no support or responses here (with the exception of a hearsay answer).

A reply or response from either or both companies would be great. This is your product, it is not the disc (very unlikely two discs have exactly same issue and if it is the disc I will surely apologize), so please service the needs of your loyal customers
and get us answer and/or a fix. Game has been on the streets for 22 days. Someone beta tested this POS, someone released it, now someone needs to fix it!

Sorry to hear about the download issues. Just to make sure that we have not missed any troubleshooting steps, I recommend trying a few to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• From the Home screen, press the Menu button on the controller.
• Select Settings and then select Network.
• Select Disconnect wireless or if you are using a wired connection, just unplug the Ethernet cable from your console.
  
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console
• Reconnect to Xbox Live.
• Check under My Games and Apps to see if Wolfenstein is installing.
  

Give the suggested steps a shot and let us know if you were able to install your game.

 

Tried the above. Didn't do anything for me.

 

I had same issue. First install stopped at 35%. Second install stopped at 49%. Third install stopped at 45%. The only solution that worked was to download the game from Live. Thank you guys for the help !

 

I can not install disc Wolfenstein on Xbox One. I've tried several steps, and nothing works. Each time the installation stops at a different %.

The installation stops saying that the disc is dirty or scratched. I thought it was disk error and would return it. But many people find it with the same problem in forum Xbox and Bethesda. Many exchanged the disc and the problem continued.

My Xbox One is laying horizontally, I try clearing the system cache by: Turning off the system, unplugging the power cord, letting it sit for about a minute and then plugging it back in and starting it up.

I have another 7 discs the Xbox and no one gave them trouble. Yesterday I tried deleting and reinstalling an old disk and it worked perfectly.

 

I have the same issues here but with cod ghosts. Looks to be an xbox issue rather than wolfenstein specific. Sort it out!!!

 

Thank you so much to the people that said to go into thr Xbox live store and install it there. This still works as of 06/18/14 I had to do it with ghosts its a little different process now though you have to press the menu key on the game your trying to
install and go to manage game and from there press the menu key on the game in that folder and press install worked like a charm.

Its a shame they can't fix these issues even though we are more than 6months after release.

 

Downloaded it from Marketplace after several attempts, exceeding my monthly bandwidth allocation but it's installed! Great game, terrible install! I've come to expect better from XBox.

 

Mine is stuck at 86% this is kinda retarted

 

I am having trouble resuming the game after playing it it keeps going back to the start menu and I have the disk
