Cloud you just need to tell the kids you just need to 'test it' to make sure its working properly so your not disappointed on Fathers Day if it doesn't work !!

 

After playing it for a good few hours now (on chapter 6) my opinion is that the game is "ok"

 

The game continues to impress.

Loving the gunplay. Even enjoying the story so far.

 

I've been very impressed overall but I believe I'm right at the end of the game now and not enjoying it quite as much as I was at the start.

At the beginning the story had me hooked, I couldn't wait to see what was next, the later levels I'm sort of glad when their over, not sure exactly why, maybe where the story has gone but it just isn't gripping me as much.

 

Thats how I feel about it, I think initially it was just the excitement of having a new One game. Now that has worn off its nothing special in my opinion. Not saying it doesnt look nice and play nice but there is nothing so far that has really hooked me
in. The sneaking stuff is ok but marred by the dumb AI who really dont notice you unless you bump into them, and the guns and FPS element is nothing really special. I prefered the Ghosts campaign.

 

Still tons of fun for me.

This is what is was like playing "Wolfenstein 3D" when it was first released.

It looks awesome and plays awesome.

Completely disagree about the "Ghosts" campaign.

The idea that a nefarious South America would one day rise up and try to overthrow Democracy and the American Way will go down in history as possibly the most idiotically stupid, bereft of sense stories ever unleashed upon an unsuspecting public.

 

I really love what i've played so far, but, thanks to a stupendously busy week, i'm only on chapter 4 at the moment

I've been playing 'all guns blazing!' so far - my idea of stealth is sneaking up behind a commander, then whipping out a shotgun and blowing his brains all over the wall!

Looking forward to getting stuck back in later : )

 

I'm playing in small doses due to other commitments but I bloody love this game.

Looks fantastic and plays like a dream.

Duel wielding sniper rifles though? Really?!

 

Az im not talking about the bones of the story. And lets face it your hardly one to worry about a decent story with some of the titles you champion ;-)

I thought the "nightmare" easter egg was a nice touch though.

I am loving this game. Nearly finished it now and I plan to get every achievement, which should be pretty easy (from what I hear if you play only the final level on UBER difficulty it gives you the achievement for the whole game!). Best FPS I have played
in years and it certainly beats Bioshock Infinite which was poor in comparison gameplay wise.
