Wolfenstein 2 (XGP on PC) refuses to load to title screen.

Hi, so I just got Xbox Game Pass for the PC. I installed Wolfenstein 2, shows a few game logos, and proceeds to a black screen and does... nothing. Absolutely nothing. Just a slate of dark grey.

I've tried reinstalling it, repairing it, but to my dismay, nothing seems to be working. My computer was made to play games like these, so I don't know what the problem could possibly be.

If anyone has any idea on what to do next, it would very much be appreciated.

I've got the same problem. It was working fine but I cranked all graphics up and the game went to a black screen after restart.

My specs

I7 9th gen

8gb ram

Rtx2060

Any help on even how to turn down graphics without going to in game would be helpful

Make sure your graphics and sound drivers are up to date, and make sure you have the Xbox beta app installed, and that you have the latest version of Windows 10 installed (may update), then try playing the game again.

Can you provide your system specs please?

As well as updating graphics drivers, what background tasks do you have running?

What Wolfenstein game are you referring to? There are currently four Wolfenstein games on PC game pass, five if you include the much older RTCW.

With the exception of RTCW, all of these have full screen, full screen borderless and full screen windowed.

What happens if you hold down the ALT key and tap Enter? Does it full screen now?
