Withdraw money from Microsoft Account balance.

Recently I bought a game using my Microsoft account balance. I had enough for the game and taxes in my balance. But the game was charged to a card instead. I remember selecting the microsoft account balance, but it still charged the card. Is there a way to fix this, or withdraw the money from my microsoft account balance?

I'm sorry to inform you that it is not possible to withdraw the balance from your Microsoft account. Once the balance is added to a Microsoft account, it can only be used for purchases in the Microsoft Store; it cannot be withdrawn to a bank account, for example.

Hello again, yes, you can use the account balance for game payments, DLC's etc, but for the Gamertag will have to have a credit card.

Unfortunately it is not possible to withdraw the balance from the account once the amount has been redeemed.
