Withdraw latest changes in MS Solitaire Collection

I have been playing MS Solitaire Collection for several years and have been very satisfied in how the game works.

But last week a new update landed on my PC. I have failed in detecting the version (where is this hidden?)

In this update the following bad design decisions was made:

* Make the game slower

* Add some extra features so cards only can be dragged and dropped in some situations and must be clicked in others!

* When a game is finished, like in FreeCell, make the ending extremely slow, so the user gets bored.

Please withdraw this version! It really sucks.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection - Events

Meine Frau und ich spielen regelmäßig mit entsprechender Anmeldung die Events von MS Solitaire Colletion jeder auf seinem Surface3.

Wir stellen immer wieder (nicht immer aber zunehmend häufiger) fest, dass selbst wenn wir uns abgemeldet haben, die verbrauchte Zeit, die ja in die Gesamtwertung einfließt, weiter läuft.

Was machen wir falsch???

So far no qualified answer, but request to withdraw from the MS Community, reasoning the question does not belong there.

 

I couldn't play a few days ago and I did the update for the April 2018 one and it worked for me for 2 days. Than the update like you said where it automatically caused a lot of problems and I can't play now either. I can play Mahjong just can't play Microsoft
Daily Challenge.

 

I second this complaint! FreeCell is TOO SLOW TO WANT TO PLAY anymore!!!!!

With the "NEW" slow motion game I will never beat my personal best of solving a game in 40 seconds!

The other games have enhancements that I rate as "TAKING TEN GIANT STEPS BACKWARD"!

Also the new (April 30, 2018 "backwards" update) changes have introduced at least TWO BUGS in the daily challenge.

The first bug is in Pyramid. When the challenge is to clear 2 Boards, After you clear the second board, it DEALS A THIRD BOARD, before it changes to "collect bonus"!

The Second bug is shown below! It ZEROS your coins, before adding the 250 bonus coins for completing the day's challenges, then restores the correct total!

For Pyramid, also a giant step backward. It NO LONGER AUTOMATICALLY ENDS THE GAME, when the board is blocked, You have zero boards left, and there are NO REMAINING MATCHES in the cards you turn up. You have to, USELESSLY, go through the deck a third time
before it ends the game! ANNOYANCE, NOT ENHANCEMENT!

 

the latest 'upgrade' sucks big time. and the 'fix/patch' a couple of days later made it worse. like Peter, above, I have been playing for years and this has ruined it for me. go back to the last version and dump this piece of crap. like I said, earlier,
'upgrading' just to please your supervisors isn't an upgrade at all. Dump this version and go back to what we had.

 

I was so frustrated to see that we have lost the capabilities of using arrow keys! Does anyone know of a good spider solitaire app that lets you do that? The first few I downloaded from the microsoft store don't have the feature. I wont be playing MS solitaire
until they switch back, it is too slow and annoying to click and drag every single time!

 

The new look and behaviour is giving me a headache. There is no way to turn off the new shadings and features, jerky card movement, excessive card animation. Microsoft, please give your programmers something else to work on, stop tinkering with Solitaire,
and restore the previous version.

 

Pretty much all I feel about this update has been said already, Microsoft please PLEASE roll back the changes to the Solitaire Collection.

Freecell feels awful to play now. Coming from someone who's been playing Freecell on/off for the last 20+ years.

Can't believe I'm leaving feedback on an update to Freecell (or that there's even a need to "update" the Solitaire Collection), but here we are.

 

I hate it that we can no longer also make plays while it is autoplaying, significantly impacting ability to get better times

 

I really HATE this new version of MS Solitaire you have forced upon us!!!!!! I have been playing for many years and have gladly paid the fee you charge for Solitaire but believe me that will STOP.

I do not like it at the end of the game that you still have 3 cards in the flip deck exposed and cannot get back to the first card, I have lost several hands due to that SNAFU!!!!!! Must be all the young blood you ate now hiring that want to make it "THEIR
WAY".

 

Here is another variation of the Solitaire daily challenge ERROR.

I briefly had 4 billion 294 million 914 thousand 304 points before it displayed the CORRECT POINT TOTAL!

 

Please roll back the changes! This latest upgrade makes me want to cancel my subscription! It wasn't broken so what made you think it needed to be fixed?
