With the June update, can i now hear myself talking in headsets??

I thought this update might fix this problem but it doesn't seem to have.. is there something i need to do to fix this?

even the 360 doesn't have this problem

Comms ban

My ban was started on JUNE 11 and said it was scheduled to end on JUNE 13 at 3:39 AM (UTC), it has now been a day later and I can send messages, use skype, and share, but party chat shows I'm talking for me, but no one can hear me and I can't hear them.
I've tried other accounts and it works, so it is an account thing not a mic/xbox problem.

Recently I can hear people in party chat and gsme play. But they cant hear me but it shows my icon talking? And I've done a test and I can hear myself talking into the mic. Not sure why they can't hear me but I can hear them? Thought it had something to
do with communication suspension, but I'm not suspended. So I have no idea

 

Do the other player on other end the line close to there TV with the volume blast high?

 

i think you misunderstand. Everything is fine except i can't hear myself through my own headphones. mic monitoring, mic feedback.. what ever you want to call it. I want to be able to hear myself when i talk while i have headphones on, just like i could with
the 360.

OP iwas asking. Because most reason it happen to me is that other people in chat have there volume high and they are close there TV. Even on the 360. I was ellimited from proble reason. Because there is non glitch reason it happens too.

 

@ MessiahBrowny - So since the june update you are able to monitor your own voice through your headset during game chat? Would you be able to explain how you achieved this?

I have seen many people disappointed with the fact this could not be done when they purchased the xbox one, seeing as this feature was standard with the 360. I have gone through all the settings since the june update and can not find anything which turns
on this feature thus why i made this post.

 

The headset i have is the Turtle Beach XO7's. I first contacted Turtle Beach asking why there was this problem to which they said it is an issue for Microsoft to fix and there is nothing they can do about it on their end as the headset is already perfectly
capable of doing this.

 

There has been continuous problems with headsets for the XB1 since they launched, in the beginning MS was working on it but I have long since given up on my headset, It still doesn't work (Static, mic not working at all not just me unable to hear myself
etc.)

 

Recently i have had no other issues with the headphones.. everything finally seems to be working ok but i just can't monitor my own voice through the headset.. and i can't seem to get an answer or info from anywhere at microsoft
