Witcher 3: Xbox One Incompatible?

Has anyone else had problems with this game causing system errors after being loaded? I installed this game on a console (digital download... yay). The console never had an issue. After installing the Witcher 3, I had to send my console in for repairs. It
wouldn't connect controllers, it had issues loading games, etc... the console went to *&$#. No issues at all before that game. I could only operate the console at all via plug-in-play cables (sometimes) after installing it. I even tried a factory reset before
sending the first console in... and tested every controller on another console in the same house/network, which resulted in no problem on a console without that game.

Low and behold, I get a brand new console and plan on giving the original to a nephew after repairs... yet. Fresh out of the box, this new console froze on Witcher 3 install at 1%. One )*@#'ing percent. I couldn't pause the install or start a new one. I
had to unplug the modem, router, console, etc. Now I pray this is just a fluke and the game isn't bricking a brand new console.

I enjoyed the game when it worked but I do have to say... this makes the bugs in Elder Scrolls and Fallout games look like jokes.

Good RPG games to try?

Fallout 3,skyrim, witcher 2, and bioshock

xbox one has witcher 3 and elsder scrolls online.

You should look into the games before you buy them though.

 

I've logged well over 100+ hours on Witcher3, my copy is retail. However I have a friend who has a digital copy and he's around my game time too.

We've both encountered odd, and strange glitches here and there, however nothing to the degree you suspect. At this point I would assume it's purely a coincident.

I'd say it's purely coincidence. I've played way over 200 hours between the base game and the expansion and I've had no issues. It's also a digital copy.
