This error code means the people at Xbox are loading something with a game. It is probably the 1.04 patch. Everyone hang tight and just have to wait. Bummer I know. Was right in middle of something like everyone else out there. Oh well.

Just to ensure that no misinformation is posted to confuse players - Microsoft have confirmed that they are aware of the issue, and have escalated it to the appropriate teams for investigation.

This isn't related to them pushing a patch at this time - it is an unplanned issue.

i uninstalled witcher 3 to re install now i cant re install what the hell i came home and want to relax and play some witcher 3 uninstalling to re install made me mad enough but it wont let me install it agin i had to uninstall because of the error code

Several hours of this game being down is ***. MS is a billion dollar company and needs to address this in a more timely manner. Not everyone has no life and is able to game any and every day. Wasted my day off as well.

This is so much crap. I only get limited time to enjoy my games during the week, and I can't even enjoy it then? I seriously feel a bit cheated now. Back to my work week I suppose.

I was playing witcher 3 til about 7 pm east coast time. I was doing a quest and then it gave me a permanent loading screen. I've shut my xbox off and on, unplugged everything, made sure everything was up to date, Uninstaller and reinstalled . The game
will get past the intro screens and cuts cents and then I get unending loading again.

The problem has not been fixed. I am still getting a black screen right after the witcher 3 splash screen and then kicked back to dashboard. I just updated the console and still no change.

I had this issue with the game loading. In order to get it to load again I would shut down my xbox(hold my finger on the power button on the console until it shut down completely, not just going to sleep) and then turn it back on...my game would always launch
after a reboot like that.

I just started to have the same issue and I get the error 0x87de2726 when I attempt to load the game.

Yea. I have updated the game and the same thing happens. I actually get farther through the title sequences of the game before updating (when I do the install offline).
