Witcher 3- will not launch

After downloading witcher 3 from the disc onto the console I tried to launch it and I get a black screen and then immediately get kicked back to the dashboard. I have tried everything suggested including unplugging the power, getting a new copy of the game,
and completely resetting the Xbox back to factory settings. The consoles OS is up to date. The weird thing is that after uninstalling and reinstalling while offline I got through the opening title sequence and began the set up of the game before I'm kicked
back out to the dashboard. I'm not sure what else I can do, any suggestions?

Do you have the game updates? A couple have been released since release.

 

Yea. I have updated the game and the same thing happens. I actually get farther through the title sequences of the game before updating (when I do the install offline).

 

I am having the same issue but this isn't the first game I've had this issue with. Although the message is extremely vague, this one is on the MS side and not a problem with your game or system. The game, especially for people with digital copies, has
been becoming more and more sluggish since 1.03. It being down at the moment is likely an attempt to fix that issue.

 

I just started to have the same issue and I get the error 0x87de2726 when I attempt to load the game.

 

just got the issue myself right after finishing the quest and it seems to be related to xbox not the game itself so we are just gonna have to wait it out.

 

Updated Witcher III with 2 new dlc's today and the game doesn't launch! Getting error message 0x87de2726. So what now Mr. Peabody? Really annoying. Hate to think about uninstalling and then a long reinstall. HELP !!!

 

Im getting the same message. Spent $65 on the game and cant play it. WTF!!!!

I made the mistake of trying to redownload.. nothing works & now i have to wait days to play again. Way to waste my 1 day off.... *** digital ***
