    Witcher 3 not syncing with cloud properly


    This afternoon I started to get a message saying that "your Xbox is out of room for saved data". I had seen on on the Witcher3 sub that this is usually caused by the large number of saved files you get in this game and that all you need to do is delete some of them. Unfortunately, this did not work, so I read other forums and saw that resetting the console (but saving your apps and games) resolves the issue.

    This got rid of the warning, however, I think the console and cloud are not properly syncing. When I reloaded my data, I lost 75% of the game I was playing. Yes, that's right, I was back at Novigrad even though I was supposed to be in Beauclair after finishing the base game and HoS DLC.

    Before I started getting the above message, I was also having an issue with the Witcher 3 freezing for a few seconds when the autosave occurred, which makes me think is related to this issue. Has anyone else had this problem before?

    Lost game save data on the Witcher 3.

    I know I didn’t delete cloud saved because it still syncs saves from all the way back to 2019. It just seemed to have stopped on December 28th. According to everything I’ve looked up the Witcher 3 has online saves and everything.

    Were you in the Minecraft Preview as well as system preview? It might be that the newer version of Minecraft worlds aren't recognized by the older version? If not, I thought they synced via the cloud, and would check that you're connected and cloud storage

    For back compatibility games, saves are synced in a cloud and take a while to be properly synced. Have you tried reinstalling the game? I did this for a broken achievement once and it fixed it.
