    Witcher 3 no german speech settings


    Hello,

    I bought the german version of W3, installed it, and tried to play. Aftre the english intro, I searched for german speach, but I had only the choice between english, polish and russian voice, not german. Only german textes are avalable.

    After a little reserach in internet, I found out, that I have to download the german speach-dlc. I did it, but after that I had also no possibility to choose german.

    After I checked the dlc in the game manager, I saw that it wasn't installed yet. So I pushed install again. After one second it showed installed. So I tried again to choose my language, but again nothing. So back to the game manager, and again the dlc was
    not installed. And this is my journey since about 5hrs.

    I tried to install everything new, didn't work.

    I tried to uninstall the dlc, and reinstall it afterwards, didn't work.

    I tried to reset the cache, didn't work.

    So I have no idea, what I could do now.

    Hey, I never knew that! Kuputt actually means 'broken' in German. I thought it was some goofy 'Murican speech we made up.

    Dishonored ist nur auf Englisch [Translation: Dishonored is in English only]

    Now it works - I changed my Console to "German" and downloaded the game new, after starting I have german text+speech. You can also see that it works if you have a look on the download size. The english version is 33,4GB and the german version 33,9GB sized.

    One of the many reason I hate living overseas...

    With kinect it is affected by the region of your account as it is online specific

    Every kinect supported country supports only a set languages

    only english Regions support english kinect

    German support german

    France supports french

    support.xbox.com/.../speech-recognition

    Is the list of kinect supported regions and what languages they support english isnt supported by kinect in germany

    Kinect is geoip specific so even changing uk wont help you

    OK. But can you aske a Buddy / Friend to help "If your router may cause the problem by some settings in the firewall" and "If he could help to choose another DNS-Server - sometime this causes a little Miracle"

    If english is not your natural speech (here too - I am german) you can also ask if somebody speech your language!

    Not really the game Dead Island was from a german company and was not allowed in germany.

    So they did not sell it in germany.

    Germans had to buy it in Austria.

    That´s how things are sometimes.

    You aren't understanding. The Witcher 3 is allowed in Poland and even if it wasn't that isn't the problem. The problem is that even if you somehow obtained an Xbox One and the game from another country, it still would not work due to the country not being
    supported by Xbox Live yet.
