Witcher 3 - language problems - Switzerland

Hello.

I buy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt directly from xbox online store (download). I'm from Switerland and I can't change the language settings:

I only have 3-4 language choices: Hungarian, Russian, English.... but no French! Is that possible? Can we change the language settings? Why I received a Russian/English/Hungarian version?

Xbox Live for Swizterland most content only in german !

Switzerland has 3 main languages, german, french and italian, but live content (movies) are mainly in german. Does anyone know how to switch to french live store (French store) ?

Russian Language Pack DLC is missing

Hi!

I bought a CD with Witcher 3 and when I run it - there is no Russian language available.

I thought there should be a DLC with the language pack. And it seems that
there was a DLC for that:

I'd really enjoy playing the game in Russian language. Is there any way to have it?

 

I download the game in swiss but the subtitles and the language is not in german. If i download the game here in swiss or germanie the language should be in german. But by me its only in english russian and polish and subtitles are just english russian polish
czech and hungarian. But not in german. Pls help me. Thx for help

 

Jep, same problem here, no German Language included.....

 

It seems that I'm not alone... Xbox support requiered here, webmaster?

same problem here-.- I've alredy called the support. All my settings are correct. They just said try it again but it didn't work out.

I'm gonna call them again tomorrow and tell them that I am not the only one...

I hope they gonna fix it real quick!!

I've just called the support again. Today they now about the problem and register everyone who has the same problem.

The guys was a bit weird as if he don't understand the real problem but he said that they are working for a solution. He had no idea how long it takes and how we get to the information when it finally runs in our languages.

 

same problem here - my xbox one console is perfectly installed - Deutsch/Schweiz - but as i downloaded the game from the store - no german language available!

Webmasters please fix it - otherwise you will have to refund it, and i go out and must buy the disc Version.

 

Jep same Problem here, only Hungarian, Russian, English and Polish I think.

Really difficult with that ancient english language to understand everything...

 

Hey folks, for reference this is the link to the developers official language availability page :

If your language option is listed on that page and is not one you can choose then it appears its a problem on the developers end.

They suggested via their forums that in the short term you could try the following - but please note its fairly drastic and I have no idea if it will work but you are welcome to try it.

Uninstall the game > switch your xbox region to one from the developers list which has the languages you want - reinstall game - makes sure it works - switch region back to your normal one.

Hope this helps until a better solution is found

 

According to this list it seems that the Swiss onlinestore sold the version for these countries, United Kingdom, Sweden, The Netherlands, Iceland, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Portugal.

The Version for Switzerland should have these language options English/French/German/Polish.

So for me thats a problem from Microsoft because they are selling the wrong version in our country.

Hope Microsoft will fix this soon.

 

Ich habe mich heute beim Support gemeldet. Ich habe das Geld für den Kauf im CH/Store umgehend auf mein Microsoft Konto rückerstattet bekommen und gehe mir jetzt das Spiel als DVD im Handel kaufen ... Mircrosoft mal ganz unkompliziert und kundenfreundlich!

 

Der Tip von SadisticZeus hat bei mir das Problem gelöst.

- Spiel deinstallieren

- Im Menue Einstellungen/System unter 'Ort' Deutschland statt Schweiz einstellen (Zeitzone war bei mir auch noch falsch)

- Konsole neu starten

- Spiel nochmals runterladen --> Danach konnte ich im Spiel auf Deutsch umstellen.

- Wenn das Spiel mal installiert ist und und auf Deutsch läuft kann man die Konsole wieder auf Schweiz zurückstellen

Scheint also wirklich so zu sein dass man in der Schweiz das Spiel mit einem falschen Sprachpaket zum download bereit gestellt hat.
