Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone (first expansion)

There. is. a new. patch coming (when i don't know)

There's. a. patch note. on. their website (didn't read. it).

Patch. size should be around 15Gb.

 

Can't come soon enough now I've finished Mad Max, perfect bridge to Fallout.

 

I've made a decision to not buy the expansions until both are playable. I don't want to stop/start and a heap of games are coming out at the moment.

 

^^ I couldn't do that. I just can't wait to play again, plus the 1st expansion is only around 10 hours or so. I'll finish that baby at the weekend.

 

Nope me neither, I was watching the ex play the start of the game the other night and it proper whetted my appetite.

On a side note I thought the game looked good before, but I bought a TV Calibration disc and calibrated my TV and OMG the game looks mentally good now!!

I can heartily recommend calibrating your TV for a instant graphics boost across all games (if you haven't already)

 

Did you guys know this was getting a physical version for the expansion? Oh well, it's been delayed apparently:

I have bought the season pass for Witcher 3, and today when I tried to download the first expansion it charges me full price. Can you please help? Thank you

 

Genchy, where did you buy the calibration disc?

 

Curry/PC World Brand, cost £20 and came with Blu Ray, DVD and Digital content. Also some colour filters, The info, instructions were clear and useful as well.

It's made a massive difference to my games and normal viewing, just be prepared to let yourself get used to the new settings as they will more than likely look a bit flat and dull to start with. Once your eyes adjust, I found the depth and sublety of
colours is superb. Games especially in my case. Hope it improves yours too!

 

@apostolic - I clicked on the marketplace tab and it said 'ready to install' (I have the season pass)

Not started the expansion yet (still got the main game to wrap up!) but I did get one of the new achievements when I took a wrong turn up a mountain and went skiing : )

 

I was looking for it this morning and it wasn't available yet.

 

Is it me or has the game got more difficult since the last patch?

Not a complaint though, as its more of a challenge : )
