Witcher 3 Expansion pass purchased...But got nothing

Hello all,

I had preordered witcher 3 digital download, that worked great and started playing yesterday.

Today i decided to go ahead and purchase the expansion pass. I bought the expansion pass and nothing downloaded and when i select it and go to manage screen it is blank. Also when i go to manage under the game tab the only thing that is there is the game,
beard pack and free armor that we got for free. No sign of expansion pack. Am i missing something. Does it show expansion pack under the purchaed game for anyone?

Game+Expansion Pass Issue

I recently purchased Witcher 3 plus the expansion pass when it went on sale and I have recently checked to see what I could download. Well it shows I have the game but the expansion pass nor the Hearts DLC show up. I did download all of the DLC just now
but for some reason I have to pay for the expansion pass again. Am I missing something?

Are they really trying to get more money out of me after I just bought the game+the expansion pass? Whenever I try to download the expansion pass or the Hearts DLC they want me to pay again. What gives?

 

Witcher 3 Expansion Pass not downloadable

I tried to buy the Witcher 3 Expansion Pass today.

After I bought it (did it on my Laptop) it does show up on the console (I actually tried to upload a screenshot, but I that didn't work either *sigh* the Screen basically shows my avatar top left corner, next one line "Manage The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion
Pass" and then nothing more) and I also got the email confirmation, plus it shows in the transactions part of my Xbox account as well

But it wouldn't let me do anything with it, e.g. downloading, installing etc.

How can I get this to work? Thanks for any Feedback.

 

Hello!! Same thing happened here......on my XBox One. I installed the game...perfect. I downloaded those two freebies, the armor and the beard thing.....they BOTH downloaded and installed perfectly. Then I purchase the Expansion Pass......same
exact thing you describe above EXACTLY.

I checked my Download History on the Microsoft site......it shows I did purchase the Expansion Pack and says COMPLETE for the Download. ???? I even went back into the XBox One Store to try to re-download the Expansion Pass, but when I do, it takes
me to that blank Manage screen again.

Also I called XBox One Support.......they said everything looked fine and I WILL get the content when it becomes available. ????? All my other Season Passes downloaded and Installed and are visible to see under the Game Icon when you select Manage
game. I don't know what else to tell you. At least youare not the ONLY one......maybe with this thread we will get some more input.

 

Something ELSE to report: Just checked the PS4 Forums on this Topic......there are reports of the Exact Same problem on that system too. Expansion Pass purchased, but they don't get what they normally get for a download. I wonder what the hell
is going on here..........

 

Hmmm. I wonder, after thinking about it, maybe none of the expansion is ready to be downloaded yet? If we get nothing but the expansion packs, and they have not been released yet, maybe nothing shows till then. Hope someone can clear this up.

 

^^ lol. There's nothing out yet besides those 2 freebies. CD Project Red's plan is to release 2 freebies for the next 8 weeks.

 

Eggnoga, that is not the point. We are wondering if we got what we paid for......because we are not getting any confirmation like we are used to getting with this Expansion Pass download.

Surfnet....I just saw on the Internet some people in Europe complaining about this same issue too.

So we are NOT alone, my friend.....keep your eyes and ears open we may hear something from the Developers on this soon.

 

It probably shows nothing because Hearts of Stone (the first expansion) isn't due for release until October this year, and Blood & Wine isn't coming out until early next year. There's nothing for it to download. All the free, regularly scheduled DLC's are
not part of the expansion pass and are instead individual downloads.

 

That is a very reasonable statement, Aleks. Thank you for pointing that out.

B U T .......if you check ANY other download content that comes out before it actually has something to release, you get a visual confirmation that the Pass or Expansion or whatever it is WAS received, visual confirmation it WAS installed. For example I
purchased the PREMIUM content for Battlefield Hardline.....nothing from that yet to release but we still got the little icon telling us it was received and installed. On this Witcher Expansion Pass we got nothing...... Makes me a little nervous........

 

It shows the same for me nothing.

 

Oh right, sorry Jackson, I misunderstood mate. I haven't purchased the Expansion Pass yet so I'm unable to confirm what happens. Maybe check your download history, it should appear on your account settings on xbox.com under recent purchases. Alternatively
you could go to "Manage Game" over The Witcher. Any extra content pertaining to the game should show beside the installed game file. If there is actually a problem I'm sure CD PROJEKT RED will resolve it.

Well, maybe when the first DLC is released you can re-download the expansion pass

 

Hi guys, I just wanted to weigh in on this subject. I purchased the Game + Expansion Pass at the same time and also only received the game. I contacted MS and they said it is up to the developer when the actual content is released. I tried to explain to
them that I KNOW the content is not ready but every other game on the marketplace lets the user downloaded a small file which stays on the users console.

As an example, I purchased Farcry 4 and the Season Pass, and I got a season pass 'ticket'. The same can be said for ANY other game I have downloaded a pass for. Unfortunately MS doesn't have a solution other than to wait for the developer. I have contacted
CDPR and the social team and they are actively ignoring my posts, I know this because I watched them reply to everyone except me multiple times. So, I don't have an answer for your guys I'm afraid but I'm glad I am not the only one that has noticed this mistake/problem

All we want is a small file to SHOW we have downloaded the Pass and confirm we have it, just the pass, not the content (because its not out yet)
