Witcher 3 1.03 issues

So far, The Witcher 3 has been running extremely well on my Xbox One with update 1.01; but now with 1.03, it seems to include more texture popping, and overall slowness especially is during conversations. Also, there seems to be more flickering with doors
and with the UI that appears above NPC (their names). Overall, I feel like the game was more polished with the unlocked frame rate than the now locked at 30 fps.

So what do you guys think? Is it only me experiencing these issues?

Small font size for loot pick ups

From an Official Source:

"A 30fps cap will be introduced via the patch, although it is unknown as yet if this will be optional.

Writing on Twitter, community coordinator Marcin Momot explained that the lock "should" be there in patch 1.03.

An option for a larger font size for on-screen text will also be included."

Can't Save on Xbox one, When is the patch coming out?

Update time! Quote from the community dev on the Witcher forums:

"The 1.03 patch on Xbox One will feature both, the FPS lock on 30 and will remove the save problem. We are hoping it will go live by Friday"

 

Hi mine was running fine on ver 1.01 and is still running fine on ver 1.03 when i quit the game i do the following hope it helps....i did read that once the game is out if you then close the game on your dashboard ( by pressing small right button and
scrolling down to quit game) this will clear cache and make the game run smoother and stop the please wait hang at the title screen.

 

After 1.03 patch all fast travel posts dont work which makes you unable to complete the game as some are needed in certain missions

 

Hi are you talking about sign post fast travel cause all mine are fine

 

Got the fast travels (sign posts) to work by going back to an earlier save but lost 10 hours of game play have seen on some other forums that the same has happened to other people aswell about loosing the use of fast travels after the update

 

I haven't downloaded the new patch. I'm thinking of passing on it.

 

Yeah same my 1.01 was fine now 1.03 it's awful. Longer load times (which where pretty bad to start with)

Once the game 'loads' I then have to wait another 15-20 sec for the npc's and textures to load.

City's empty of ppl, npc and texture pop in, npc's not interactive. Sound glitches. 'Loading' in the bottom right corner for everything.

It's like I'm playing on a 5yo PC

 

guess what. 1.05 is already out, but due to MS cert-progress we still have 1.03

 

I'm playing the Ps4 version and everything was fine up until the latest update. Before the update I played about 20 hours with no issues whatsoever. After the update I got an error at two of the fast travel posts and my game closed. Luckily I save a lot
so it wasn't a major issue, but it could have been.

 

im on ver 1.03 and im having issues as well regarding texture , music , empty city no venders in npc`s and on the quest an eye 4 an eye when i go meat Roche under hangdmen tree he`s never there as well i had missions with Triss that where not available ,
and now on kings gambit just after the horse chase the game went into stall got a black screan with the loading sign and nothing is happening !

i just talked to a freind who plays on PS4 and he seems to have none of the bugs im having and mind you what i wrote it was just the tip of the edge and i just told aswell that i feel like im playing an old game on an old platform !

i really wish they would fix all the bugs before going out with game ! at least maybe Xbox can push on them seeing that on other platforms they do not have the same issues !

 

I'm noticing similar problems. But I have ran into one particular glitch that has to be seen to be believed. Here goes:

I'm currently on the quest ugly Baby. I'm in Skellige and need to go to Velen in order to continue the quest. I have 65110 gold (Not one earned from the infamous money glitch) but when I fast travel to Velen, it depletes my gold substantially. It literally
goes from 65110 to 856!

But hold on, it gets weirder. Lets say I save my game with me having 65110 gold. Then I fast travel to Velen where it depletes my gold to 856. I KID YOU NOT, if I then load my save with the 65110 gold, it changes it so that I'll have 856 gold! The only way
to bypass this is to go back by 4 saves.

I played the game for two hours and have actually LOST progress! Its aggravating because before the patch, the game was *** near perfect.

 

mid way through the 'Get junior' quest my game has drastically gone South with the bugs.

Getting no XP from any quests (contracts or main quests), even though they're just a level below me in most cases.

Camera bug where it almost looks first person apart from the top of Geralt's hair.

Struggling to load saves. Sometimes they don't even load at all.

Mini map is showing no detail. It's brown.

Can't kill regen enemies

and some other minor ones

What started off fine has turned into a hugely frustrating experience. One of the worst buggy games I've played this gen. Doesn't help that MS still continue with their inane convoluted patch verification process. Even more frustrating knowing Sony managed
this days ago.

 

@Roy Portney if you continue the quest for Djikstra once he talks to Roche you can then go back to the Hanging Tree and he will be there.
