Witcher 2 not playable issue.

I am also having the same issue. The game was available in the xbox store just two weeks ago or less.

I went back to purchase the game a few days ago and the game was no longer available in the xbox one store.

I improvised and purchased it on my profile from the microsoft store on the internet. I was able to see under “ready to install” on my Xbox One (The game says playable on xbox one also.) Yet whenever I load the game it says I need to wait until the game is
released and gives me this error code “0x87e10007”

I have uninstalled and tried a hard reset. I can reinstall but still does not work no matter what I try. It still doesnt show up in the xbox one store for me.

I saw on other dicussions that some people have two different versions of the game in their ready to install list. One being 7.7g (the working file) and the other being 7.8 (the file reportedly not working that must be uninstalled)

My issue is that I only have the 7.8g version available to install and nothing I try has gotten it to work. I have contacted microsoft support and informed them of my issue but were unable to help me with my problem.

Has anybody figured out a work around for this yet?

I am having the same exact issue. The game was only showing up in the Microsoft store on xb1 at certain times and wasn't there at others so I bought it online from my phone through Mictosoft on February 8th and installed it then. Now, on the 20th, I just
tried to launch it and I got the same error message as the op. I am currently re-installing the game so we'll see what happens.

Im wondering if there is some kind of outage happening at the moment either on microsofts end or yours. Are you able to find and download other games?

Hello! I'm sorry your experiencing this issue, here are some different possible solutions I can provide. Try these in order.

1. Hard restart the console.

Hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, or until the console is fully off, wait about 30 seconds and turn it back on.

2. Uninstall and reinstall the game.

It could be an issue with the game itself, maybe this will help if so.

3. Contact Microsoft support here

If none of these work, it could be an issue with the software or hardware of the console itself. Official Microsoft support will be able to provide better support on this.

I have the same problem. I purchased the game a while back and it was in my Ready to Install list. I installed it but got the 7.8GB version that would not load. I uninstalled it after seeing posts about the 7.7GB version and when I did it disappeared from
