    Going by that list 'FREE' backwards compatibility is DEAD - and if anyone tries to defend it then they are very naive.

    Thank god i wasn't one of those people suckered into expecting it to live up to the false hype.

    What a joke !

    I suspect that most publishers do not want to support BC with their (On Demand) AAA titles, which would explain why we are seeing waves of Indi/Arcade titles making the list.

    But MS wil not say. 'We asked and they refused.' so this illusion that COD etc making the list will likely go on for some time to come and then dropped (Like they did on BC OG) altogether. But people will hold out hope until it becomes ovious that it was
    all a snowjob!

    Sorry, that's not what i meant - What i intended to say was publishers are holding off giving permission so they can find a way to get people to pay again for a game they have already bought similar to Sony.

    ... and if it goes that way it's gonna come back to bite 'em big time !

    I was able to pick up Witcher 2 for FREE even on my Silver account... Just thought that was odd... Thanks MS, or whomever.

    Free is always nice!
