Witcher 2 - Disappeared

Hi guys,

I grabbed the Witcher 2 late January when it was going for free, installed it on my old Xbox One but never had a chance to play it. I decided I would give this a go yesterday however I have a new XB1 after my last decided to die on me. I went into my install
list, searched for Witcher 2 only to be asked to pay when trying to install this. I am a bit worried as this has happened with Fallout 3 as well as far as backwards compatible titles are concerned. I was asked by support to change my region then change it
back to see if this would relieve the problem...sadly it hasn't as yet.

Explain to me exactly why you Like the Witcher 2

Wow how adult of you to call someone a kid ...typical fan boy answer .

I have played may rpg's thank you and no i did not like witcher 2 on the 360 that is my opinion (pc felt more natural to me and a lot easier to access menu's.

I'm not saying Witcher 2 is a *** game ..obviously thousands would disagree im just saying i didn't like the game and gave my reasons why .......

Also i could only loot once the bodies had disappeared ..so could be a bug ...

Have you played Witcher or Witcher 2? there lies your answer. in short, yes. Witcher 2 is stunning and is a fantastic game.

 

If you log into your Xbox live account on the website does it show the game under your download history?

 

It doesn't actually. It's quite confusing. It hadn't fully downloaded on my previous XB1 (was at 98% when I paused it)

Surely this couldn't have caused an issue?

The Witcher 2 product page? If it's asking you to purchase, then it appears this account doesn't have the license on it. Is it possible at that point that you grabbed it on another account?

 

Sadly not showing as purchased. I'm 100% sure I "purchased" when it was available for free as well. Very confusing. I thought it may be the case that it might be associated with my nephews gamertag which is also on my Xbox, but everything I've checked, including
a call with Xbox Support, confirmed it isn't.

Really sorry to hear that. Were you able to get in contact with phone support to take a look at the purchased on your account? If you're still not able to find it, unfortunately it sounds like the purchase wasn't completed.

 

The same thing actually happened to me a week ago. I fully downloaded the game at one point and played it a little and deleted it for space, then a couple of days ago i decided to continue it and noticed it was gone. The i decided to contact the support
and tried to get the license back and they basically said, "screw you". So you're probably not getting back unless you buy it.
