Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Every where I go to says Witcher 2 will be free Jan 16th,

So I go to the Store around 12 Am and i get errors trying to load of the Witcher menu to download it and I get errors, so I go to Xboxlive.com seeing if i could download it from there but it's gone not even there so I look at games for gold and low and behold
it's gone not even there, I called Xbox support and well the guy was short of a few sticks and says to me there is only one free game fro gold for 360 lie its been that way from the beginning . So what i'm getting at

1. They lied about Witcher

2. Some how by coincidence it was deleted by mistake right at the date of it being free

3. both

Just finished Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings and it was epic. DO NOT miss when this hits 360.

 

I can't download it either!!! I have found an Aus games with gold link to witcher 2 but it goes nowhere.

WTF Microsoft???

 

I wouldn't worry about it just yet, they haven't even updated the GWG page. I hope it is still Witcher, that'd be awesome. Why would they lie? Maybe it was a licensing issue. Of course, as often as they put in on sale...maybe they decided to wait one more
month & put it on sale one last time XD

 

There's a service alert up regarding the marketplace on the 360 at the moment which is why people may be having issues.

Just because a game becomes free on a certain date doesn't mean it will be available for free dead on midnight.Normally thay become available in the morning.

I'm currently downloading The Witcher 2 now so it is up for download for free in the U.K.

Well it's 11:54 am where I am and it still won't allow me to download it. The thing is I'm getting the same error message but that's not what is pissing me off. The problem is that this issue seems to always happen when the second free game of the month
is supposed to come out, whether it is on the 14'th or 16'th. Now I'm not saying anything indefinitely but this is starting to look like it is done deliberately. If that is the case, I am seriously considering changing to another system if this is how Microsoft
treats their customers.

 

It's the first day that this game is supposed to be free. If it has trouble, just wait. You have the rest of the month to download it. This has happened in the past and has always been resolved as far as I am aware. Also, it's a FREE game, quit complaining.

 

I dont know if anyone else is having this issue but i cant even download games right now it just says something is wrong with the xbox services or that theres no content. Im only bringing this up because its also happening with Witcher 2

you guys are worried about games with gold and my netflix hasn't worked for 6 months! lol they just don't care about us....i've been on XBL for 11 years and they haven't ONCE fixed any issues i've had.....be glad your stuff works at all!

 

you have issues loading netflix then get in touch with netflix, their app and service, i have no issues with it or any other things and many other are the same.
