    Currently you have the option to buy games for friends on xbox live.

    I would like the option to buy movies for friends also. Thanks

    Was your friend actually able to redeem the code? Gifting over Live is usually region locked.

    Think it is the the same region so I would imagine so. Also surprised MS/XBOX would not convert the region.

    Agreed it would be awesome to be able to share movies with friends so that you could have a party and discuss what’s going on in real time. My friends all live across the country and I know we would enjoy this feature
