    Wireless Xbox One Controller Not Connecting


    I don't know which windows update caused it since I'm not an avid gamer, but one day when I decided to play game on my PC, I found that my Xbox One wireless controller will not connect to my Xbox Wireless Adapter.

    I have updated both the driver on windows 10, and the firmware on my Xbox One controller and troubleshooting, but they just refuse to connect.

    PS: I have both a wireless and a bluetooth controller. The bluetooth controller is able to connect to the PC just fine.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. That is a great question. The console allows up to eight wireless controllers to connect to the console. The article entitled, "Connect
    a wireless Xbox One controller to your console    " contains information about the Xbox One controllers. The article states, "You can connect up to eight wireless controllers to a console." We hope this helps!

    "am I being stupid".... No, everyone has trouble from time to time. But, let me suggest following up with a couple of things, "Connect a wireless
    Xbox One controller to your console    " and "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" . Let us know if you continue to have
    issues connecting the controller to your Xbox.
