    Wireless Xbox Elite Controller random input lag spikes.


    I recently built a new pc and have gone from Windows 10 to Windows 11 in the process. I am using the same controller as I was on my old pc that worked perfectly, but this time after about a minute of playing wirelessly, input lag of about 3 or 4 seconds spike in and out. The problem is fixed when I plug it in, but I'd really like for my wireless controller to work wirelessly. The problem occurs in every game I use a controller for such as Forza, Rocket League, etc.
    I have tried the solutions to this forum:

    ,but none of the solutions worked for me. I've tried updating the drivers through device manager and they say that everything is up to date. When I try through the xbox accessories app, it says to connect it via usb. When I do so with the wire that came with my controller, nothing happens (tried this in multiple usb locations that work normally for other peripherals).

    Really hope it's not something hardware related, but my specs are NZXT n7 z790 mobo, Samsung 980 pro 1TB, intel core i9 13900k, Gigabyte Aero GeForce 4090, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5...

    Any help is much appreciated!

    This is interesting. Do u happen to know if while playing wired, the elite controler has the same input lag as a normal wired controller? Or does it continue being a wireless operation, but is charging?

    i Just tested it with a regular controller and it worked fine. Then switched back to my Elite 2 and the input lag was there again.

    Well then, here goes.

    I live in USA, GA

    Modem brand: Ubee\ Model number D3.0

    Router brand: Apple time capsule (store.apple.com/.../time-capsule-2tb)

    My connection to xbox live is wired

    Things I have tried: reseting my router and modem several times.

    When I run a connection test no NAT errors come up, although when I play a game that shows you your NAT type i.e call of duty... again, it is moderate

    I have not encountered any error codes

    My ISP: Comcast
