Wireless Xbox Controller turns off as soon as I sync it

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform a powercycle on your console to fix the issue.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If the controller turns off, there is no controller postition sync for the Wireless Headset (Headset, wouldn't know, what controller it is for etc).. The communication Port, would turn off or close too..

Hey there Ashford! Is your controller wireless? If so, your controller may not be synced properly with the console anymore. Try turning the console on with the physical button, then try syncing your controller by pressing the sync button on the console and
controller. Once they sync up again, turn your console off and try turning it on with the controller. Let me know the result of this, thanks!

Even with the wireless now turned off (using ethernet) the controller disconnects randomly and will not re-sync without turning it off and on a few times. As I recall the controller uses wifi direct to connect to the console. Fantastic.

Try resyncing the one that doesn't work.
